100: The Surpassing Worth of Jesus
Passage: Philippians 3:1–3:11
What would it look like if you and I gave all of our life, truly surrendering all that we were to God? Our singleness, our marriages, our money, our dreams, our homes, our careers, our suffering, our joys…all of it. In cultural lingo, to “go 100” is to give all your energy, 100%, to a particular task. This fresh passion coincided with The Brook’s 100th Sunday worship service, which will be on August 30. And so, we will take the next several weeks looking at the lives of people in the Bible who gave all that they were to God, through the many trials and challenges of life. Their great ambition was to see Jesus exalted in their lives.
Giving all and Receiving Jesus, far surpasses the value of Keeping All and Rejecting Him. This is the "100" battle cry, “Jesus is worth it!”
