Easter 2015: 4 Ways to Help
On April 5 we will celebrate the glorious fact that Jesus is alive! If Jesus didn't raise from the dead, then our faith is in vain. "But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead," writes Paul, and because he lives, we want to tell the world around us about our great hope in Jesus. This Easter, we are having two Easter services at 9am and 11am to double our praise and space for people from our community to join us.
Here are 4 tangible ways for you to get involved this Easter:
- Commit - Commit to coming to the 9am or 11am service (or both!) and invite at least two people to join you.
- Fliers - This Sunday, March 22 after worship at 12:15 we'll head out into our community with 5,000 fliers! The more people that help, the more ground we can cover.
- Social Media - Change your banner on Facebook, post on Instagram, and tweet the world. Here's a Facebook Banner and 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 Instagram pics we for you to use.
- Egg Hunt - After each service, we'll have a special Easter egg hunt for kids in the gym. From now until Easter we'll be collecting eggs (filled or unfilled) each Sunday for the hunt.
Pray that God will bring people to Jesus this Easter and that we at The Brook would continue to faithfully share the good news and make disciples (followers of Jesus)!
